You can make your own feeder with our DIY feeder ports. You provide your own box or container. You can purchase a hole saw with a 3 1/2″ bit. Installation is a piece of cake–just make a hole in a container, slip the rubber gaskets on the feeder port, and push the port into the hole. Four notches on the port will lock it securely into place when you push it into the container. It is recommended to use two for every 6-8 chickens. Nothing could be easier or faster. This will work with 5-gallon buckets and industrial grade large plastic barrels, but for the easiest fit, square sided containers are best.

These can also be used for ducks, pheasants, peafowl, and female turkeys (male turkeys may be too large).

These Feeder Ports are awesome! I’m SO glad I got these instead of trying to make my own from standard PVC elbow fittings. My hole saw only went as large as 2 1/2″, but no problem as Amy sells the hole saw you need too. And she shipped everything out same day as ordered. Very happy with purchase – now my chickies are going to get an extreme make-over to their feeding system!
